GloCom's iMUST Voice provides current Fleet Broadband users a high quality lower cost solution for off-shore FBB terminal users. iMust Voice is simple to install, transparent to use solution for commercial boats with crew friendly management solutions for voice communication.
Multi-voice is an
Inmarsat (not Vocality) optional feature for FBB terminals. It provides
additional channels for voice callers on ship. The way it works is that the
first call must be through Inmarsat circuit switched voice. While the first
call is on, the second call will go through IP background channel but it will be
switched at Inmarsat SAS (satellite access station) to PSTN. I believe the
Inmarsat Multi-voice can go as much as 8 channels.
Vocality’s device will
be working in conjunction with Inmarsat Multi-voice feature by offering the IP
voice solution for the second channel and beyond.
